Sura Kahf + Actions are judged on intentions

Bismillah

Have you read sura kahf today?

Umar bin al-Khattab related that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Actions are (judged) by motives, so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration was to Allah and his Messenger, his migration is to Allah and his Messenger, he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or wife he might marry, his migration is to for which he migrated." Related by Bukahri and Muslim

My take:
1. We need to be careful with our intentions and regularly renew/re-evaluate our intentions

2. We will be judged according to our intentions and the best actions are ones that are done for the sake of pleasing our Lord

2. I found it is very easy to talk about past good actions and subhanAllah, why would we try to lose the blessings in our good deeds by showing them off?

May Allah saves us from insincerity and help us accomplish our goals and aspirations for the right reasons. Ameen.

Peace and Jummah Mubarak
