Assalamu Alaikom.
Abud Hamzah ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
"None of you will have Emaan (faith) until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself)."
Related by Bukharee and Muslim.
This is one of my most favorite prophetic sayings, and internalizing it is a very important part of being a believer. How safe and comfortable do we feel around people who are continuously trying to implement this saying? I pray that we are all blessed with hearts that always wants the best for others no matter what state we are in. Ameen.
