Bismillah
Abdullah bin 'Amr narrated that a person asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "What (sort of) deeds in or (what qualities of) Islam are good?"
The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you don't know."
My Take:
1. The Prophet (peace be upon him) highlights the importance of feeding the poor in this religion
2. Greeting our friends and strangers with the greetings of salam (peace) is recommended and revives the Prophet's tradition.
May our Lord make it easy for us to feed the less fortunate and give the greetings of peace to people we know and people we don't know. Ameen.
